20 June 2016: Bosch Parade 2016 was again a fantastic experience! The Wave worked out as a perfect method to activate the audience and to participate in this public event. More pictures will follow but there are already some to watch here.
17 April 2016: Working at the moment for Bosch Parade 2016, June 16,18, 19. Together with Thomas Rutgers I will present The Wave, with a giant floating arrow, tank drum, color wave and cheerleaders.
12 Sept 2015: I'll present my new installation Pillow Talk during the Reinventing Happiness expo: Bosch Geluk in the Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch from 12 Sept - 29 Nov 2015. An open dialogue where 'being happy' is placed in perspective.
6 Sept 2015: Just gave my first lesson at the Fontys Future Media Lab. An inspiring and interdisciplinary lab where lecturers and students with a background in ICT, Arts, Communication, Journalism and Sports Economics explore new ways of telling stories. I will help students with their concepts and designs and inspire them with interesting examples in storytelling.
15 Sept 2015: In october I will start as curator and project manager at RAK (room for audio visual arts). I'm looking forward to create together with Monique van de Wijdeven experiences in film in the widest sense.
22 Aug 2015: After visiting every graduation show in Noord-Brabant I selected the nominees for the Wave AWARDS, a prize for future talent in the field of future media, play and interaction. Opening: 3rd of September! Expo takes place from 3 - 13 Sept 2015 @ Willem II Fabriek
7 May 2015: SHINE, Bosch Arts Festival will appear in Het Paleiskwartier, 's-Hertogenbosch. A festival with interactive installations, film, music, performances and workshops. With a.o. Numen/For Use, Plastique Fantastique, 1024 Architects, Darf Design, Niklas Roy & Kati Hyyppä, Plastique Fantastique. From 7 - 17 May, 2015.
30 Jan 2015: Together with Manita Kieft (Muzerije) I coached for Wave of Tomorrow a group of residents in the district 't Zand Noordwest and inspired them to create a new light route in the main street of this area. They will present their Lichtroute Boschveldboulevard on 30 Jan 2015 at the Willem II Fabriek. Watch this nice video for their story:
10 Nov 2014: City Craft-event: Gamification voor Gebiedsontwikkeling is a conference for planners, architects, designers, policy advisors and companies about how play and gaming can help in long term processes of spacial planning. With a.o. Hubbub, Play the City, Studio Papaver, Bureau Hans Venhuizen. Date: 21 November 2015 at the bkkc in Tilburg.
15 Sept 2014: After a year of rebuilding, the Willem II Fabriek will open her doors again for the audience. Expect a grand vinissage! For Wave of Tomorrow I invited Collaboration-O to create a dynamic and interactive urban living room in the garden. Come and celebrate. From 19 -21 Sept 2014.
1 Aug 2014: During theatre festival Boulevard, BLVRD Fabrikaat in 's-Hertogenbosch you will find Heuse Horror. In the old factory De Heus I made an interactive exposition with art house horror films, exciting games, ghost food, performances and storytelling at the campfire. From 7 -17 Aug 2014
2 June 2014: Playful Arts Festival is back! Expect games, performances, expo's, workshops, lectures and more.
