Jitske Blom (Rotterdam, 1983) graduated at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2008 at the department of Public Space. Since than she worked for different offices and started her own studio. Her installations and designs make us use, hear and see our surroundings in a new way. Her work contains cross-overs of different disciplines and experiments. She likes to create temporary installations and public interventions. Physical, auditory and visual transformations where the visitor/user has a part/role in, which is interactive. A place or experience where everything is possible and where she takes the audience on a journey.

In her work as independent curator and organizer she does the same. For the library of 's-Hertogenbosch and Wave of Tomorrow she acts as mediator and scout of current themes in society, with an emphasis on learning, co-creating and interaction and organizes events around these topics. She also likes to inspire students in the field of new media, storytelling, design and arts and graduated cum laude as Art Educator at the Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg.
